Scope of services

HyperInk provides a full range of proofreading and editing for fiction/non-fiction manuscripts, and technical, academic, medical and legal documents. When HyperInk does independent research to verify the factual accuracy or legality of the contents of your documents, such research is only done with in consultation with you and with your consent and approval. While HyperInk assures you of the best possible researching service when editing documents, we cannot guarantee any outcome, and ultimate responsibility for the content lies solely with you.

License and site access

You are granted limited license to access and use this website, but may not reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, or exploit any part or page of this site for commercial purposes. You may not use frames to display any content (including text, images or layout) without obtaining written consent from HyperInk You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, and revocable right to create a hyperlink to this website, provided that the link accurately reflects the nature and scope of our services. Unauthorized use of any portion of this site beyond that contained herein may violate copyright, trademark and other laws.

Online security

At every stage of the your work, we ensure the strictest confidentiality at all levels. We have invested in stable and secure intranet environment, where only your editors have access to your document. Your privacy is guaranteed.

We run a background check on our editors to verify their bona fides and all of them had signed NDAs with HyperInk. As the client, you retain sole copyright, ownership and control over all materials submitted to us for proofreading, editing or rewriting, including any content developed by HyperInk in the course of the proofreading, editing or rewriting process.

E-mail records

When you visit the HyperInk website or contact us by e-mail, you are communicating with us electronically. By doing so, you agree to receive e-mail communications from HyperInk. You agree that all agreements, disclosures, and other communications that HyperInk provides you in an e-mail satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing.

You agree to let HyperInk archive original e-mails to you and from you as part of our documented records. In the event of any dispute regarding the scope or nature of our services, you agree to the use of e-mail records as evidence of prior communication in the disputed transaction.

Unpaid invoices

As stated on this website, HyperInk will never ask you for an advance payment, but edited documents will only be released on payment. In exceptional circumstances, HyperInk does modify this rule. In this case, an invoice must be paid within 15 business days. If you do not pay an invoice within 15 business days, you agree to pay interest at the rate of ten per cent (10%) on the unpaid invoice or the unpaid balance.
