HyperInk SmartSource is a professional online editing service specializing in project outsourcing and gives high priority to protecting your privacy. Our business depends on safeguarding your personal information and intellectual property rights (IPR). Your writing is your intellectual property, and any information you provide us with concerning your work, your profession or about yourself is considered strictly confidential. Under the provisions of national and international IPR and data protection legislation, we are bound to ensure that your IPR is never infringed upon, and that your writing is secure from the time it gets to us till the time it is returned to you. This Privacy Policy explains how we receive, process and protect your work, your mail ID and any personal information that you provide to HyperInk SmartSource as part of your business relationship with us.

Personal Information
The only information we record about you when you visit the HyperInk SmartSource website is your name and email address, the date and time of your visit, your geographical location, the pages you access, and which operating system and browser you use. As the website includes no business transaction, HyperInk does not install Cookies on your computer, nor does HyperInk collect, process, or store any credit card or financial information. Payments are processed through PayPal, to ensure encrypted, highly secure credit card payments.

We use information about the nature of the work we do for you only to enhance our business relationship with you, for administrative purposes, marketing analysis, and to improve our website and service portfolio. HyperInk SmartSource does not disclose any of your personal information to any third party for any purpose whatsoever. Your personal information is only disclosed to your editor (or lead editor, in case your project requires an editorial team) and always remains your intellectual property. We take all necessary steps to protect data from misuse, loss, unauthorized access, modification or disclosure.

Work-in-Progress Security Measures
For your protection, HyperInk does not retain any work files or copies of completed projects. Your encrypted writing remains on our system only when the work is in progress, and for a subsequent period of 1 to 21 days for any follow-up that may be required. After that,it is automatically deleted from the system, unless you send us a written request to archive your files for future reference.

Online Security
At every stage of the your work, we ensure the strictest confidentiality at all levels. We have invested in stable and secure intranet environment, where only your editors have access to your document. Your privacy is guaranteed.

We run a background check on our editors to verify their bona fides and all of them had signed NDAs with HyperInk. As the client, you retain sole copyright, ownership and control over all materials submitted to us for proofreading, editing or rewriting, including any content developed by HyperInk in the course of the proofreading, editing or rewriting process.
